By Car:
 From I-95, take Exit 182A for Bangor and follow signs for Route 3 East toward Bar Harbor. Once you arrive in the village, Mira Monte Inn is conveniently located just off the main road, with complimentary onsite parking for all guests. From Highway 1, follow the signs for Route 3 from Ellsworth to Bar Harbor. 1 will lead directly to Bar Harbor.

By Air:
 The closest airport is Bangor International Airport (BGR), approximately 50 miles away via Highway 1A. Rental cars and shuttle services are available at the airport. Hancock County–Bar Harbor Airport (BHB) also offers seasonal flights and is only 15 miles from the inn.

By Ferry:
 During summer, ferry services from Nova Scotia to Bar Harbor are available—an unforgettable way to arrive in Maine!

Getting Around

Once here, you can walk to most restaurants, shops, and waterfront attractions. For exploring Acadia National Park, the free Island Explorer bus (operating seasonally) stops near the inn and is a great eco-friendly transportation option.
